anyone know what to do with a large pink boat?
that is the simple question… I have two options.
One it goes to a good home for restoration or for a garden OR it gets put into a large skip.
It must be out of the park by this weekend and the boat movers must be booked pretty much as soon as possible.
Any suggestions, sooner rather than later, please…. the clock is literally ticking
if you wish and we do get a few bob it can go to the Niall Mellon Trust and the Garden of Hope team where I will travel this November. If not, not to worry be happy the boat has a good home and you’ve [re] re-berthed a fine piece of mahogany.

I dropped by during my run in the park last Thursday morning. It was a hive of activity! Congrats!
As for the boat I would love to take it home but it looks bigger than my garden.

Hi Peter,
I heard you on with Rick yesterday and I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been trying to convince my wife to allow me to place a boat in our garden for months now instead of a play house for the kids and because we only moved into our new home last November we are still at the early stages with the garden which stands at about 1.5 acres. With all this in mind I dragged Tre and my kids aged 4, 7 and 10 by the way, along to Bloom and we did laugh when we saw your boat and the way your garden was created. It was fab. We came away from Bloom with great ideas and we decided to look out for a boat instead of a standard play house. When I heard you on yesterday with Rick I had to text immediately. I am the guy with the lorry and crane and can take it immediately. I text Ray twice in fact yesterday. Mind you after looking at the video which is very good I think the Transport Guys you had could handle it better. We can talk. I will gladly make an donation to The Niall Mellon Fund and we have a local Guy heading out there later in the year also. We are actually manufacturing a name plate for the scheme of house ehe will be working on………. Rick has my number if needed. Thanks, keep up the good work.
A Chara Martin
thank you so so much – and all of ricks listeners – and for coming up to the bloom show! and i am so sorry as i said to rick earlier today that i didnt have a thousand pink boats to give away… who’d have thought! but the electric picnic was the most appropriate home where it will be so well looked after.
The truth was it really was a big piece as shown in the video and of all those who could have taken it it was a case of this weekend only. Unfortunately.
I’m happy that my garden made you smile! and if I ever have the pleasure to shake your hand and meet you, the coffees will be on me.
