Urban Garden brightens up Smithfield
Jul 13th, 2008 by Peter Donegan MI Hort
The video below explains why I got involved in urban garden [click here for previous article] … but I think you’ll find Mary Wier of [and] Dublin City Council organised a day that held in store a lot more than just a good looking horticulturist [...that'd be me by the way]. The day really did make a difference.
We do need to make an effort to green up ‘our’ spaces. I hope you enjoyed it and more importantly I hope ‘you’ took something home with you from the day [apart from a big smile] that will help you green up ‘your’ space.
BEFORE
DURING…
I WISH EVERY DAY WAS AS BRIGHT AS THIS…
AND OF COURSE PLANTS and NATURE…

Ah, I really wish I hadn’t missed this - I’m very interested in the greening of urban spaces and was involved in something silmilar in the States. (http://www.dehort.org )
Well done, and I’ll keep my eyes open in future.
A Chara Debbie,

Thanks, and yes it’s a fantastic organisation that has made a huge impact in its area.
Do give me a shout or twitter loud and clear if anything like this comes up again.
Cheers,
Debbie
