join a garden group….?

Aug.11.2009  by  Peter Donegan

any of the these describe you…. ?

are you interested in the greeny garden outdoors kinda thing but don’t want to fall asleep within the first 7 minutes seconds ….? ;)

what if we became the hippest bunch of jimmedy crickets ever to cross the green line ?

A bit like the Dublin Twook Club crossed with the photobloggers, but different-ish ;)

All of the great bits of green and horticulture – except in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt [if thats what you like to wear ;) ]

Got an idea, suggestion or recommendation….? leave a comment or send an email to info [at] doneganlandscaping [dot] com

my thinking is that:

  • this costs zero money
  • whether qualified or you simply ‘like that flower’ – it’s all good
  • we meet about once every 6 weeks
  • its as much about fun as it is interesting
  • everyone has a say in what we do

what do you need:

  • an ability to smile
  • a likening for the colour green in any shape or form

after that – pop an email to info [at] doneganlandscaping [dot] com or leave a comment below.

If the interest is there – great stuff ! If not – I tried and I’ll probably go for a pint on Friday evening ;)

    How about things like:
Veg swap – you’vetoo many potatoes, and I’ve too many tomatoes
    Demostrations
Talks about how to make gardening cool
Visits to members gardens, to view, and or help them out
Community gardening – setting up estate garden clubs to make sure they look decent
I’ll post up anything else that I think of
