i have about ten of these bird feeders dotted around the garden. The ones on the right are good for the seed - but the larger birds seem to prefer the nuts… I’ll probably give it about a week and then I’ll put them back up again.

so many times i hear the varying views of garden lovers versus those of ‘but sure then i’ll have to look after it..’, I hear those of [some] house builders who believe that gardens are just wasted money… the list goes on.

i really liked doing this job. Of course and naturally I’d prefer that the entire planet was landscaped [peter donegan memorial garden style], but with relevance here to the consideration of trees in relation to buildings [and modern day realities], it looks really good.

I had a situation some time ago…. It happens regularly in Ireland… the guys were in Howth creating a garden and I was in Templeogue. The problem? it was raining in Howth but not in Templeogue. So we have what I know as local weather. [This is not Spain!].
